1. Remember to lock the door, do not hold the door frame

When the excavator is going downhill or off the trailer, many drivers will habitually push the left hand on the front windshield or door frame, and operate the excavator with the right hand. At this time, if the door is open and not locked, due to the forward tilt of the fuselage, the door will be quickly closed due to gravity, usually with great force. If you hold your hand on the door frame, you will get caught. Very serious consequences.

Therefore, when the excavator is working, whether the door is open or closed, it must be locked. The driver should try not to hold the door frame by hand.

2. Precautions when walking

There are many novice or apprentices who will raise the boom of the excavator to the highest level, fully open the stick, and face the bucket in order to have a better view. In fact, it is very dangerous to walk in this way. Since the working device is lifted high, the center of gravity is high, and the vehicle will overturn if the ground is slightly uneven.

3. Pay attention to blind spots

The cab of the excavator is on the left, and the middle passive arm blocks the line of sight, so there is a large blind spot on the right side, especially the rear on the right side. Many excavator accidents cause people to be injured or killed due to the rotation of the right side of the tail! Therefore, when working in a field that is not very wide, the excavator should try to move to the left to leave more space on the right side.

In addition, many people do not pay much attention to the rearview mirror of the excavator. The rearview mirror is a very fragile thing on the excavator. It is often knocked off during work or transportation. Many drivers will feel that they touch it. , Anyway, it's not important, so I didn't put on a new rearview mirror in time. In fact, the rearview mirror on the excavator is very important, especially the right side. Accidents are often caused by poor safety awareness!
